Project Qatar was held in Doha from 7th May till 10th May 2018 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) and this year’s event was very successful. TBMTC, along with their Principal Supreme Industries Ltd was present in stall E 03. Mr Naman Jain Head of Exports of Supreme Industries was very happy with the quality and numbers of people who visited the stall. “Participation in Project Qatar was really very helpful as it gave us a food understanding of the market. We had visitors from many large contractors and consultants and the reaction to our products was very positive” said Mr Naman Jain. A TBMTC spokesman said that they had many active leads that they were following up and were very optimistic about the future of Supreme’s civil construction products in the Qatar market.
TBMTC hosted a seminar on 6th May at the Oryx Rotana titled Interactive Sessions on Deterioration of Concrete in the Gulf and Innovative Plastic for Construction. The seminar participants were consultants and contractors and the attendance of 70 people attested to the quality and success of the event. There were two speakers – Dr Nasser Al Nuami, Asst. Professor in Qatar University, one of the leading researchers in Qatar who spoke on Deterioration of Concrete in the Gulf & Introduction of innovative products for construction, and Mr Naik, DGM of Supreme Industries who discussed Supreme’s innovative use of plastics in construction.
